“Women belong in all places where decisions are being made”- Ruth Bader Ginsberg

WorkLINC is our recently launched project aimed at supporting Lesbian and Bisexual women in their pursuit of employment, training and further education. Funded through ReThink Irelands Equality Fund, the service is aimed at supporting women in their professional and educational goals, and is informed by the lived experiences of the women who have encountered additional  barriers in their professional and academic paths. We have a newly appointed Employment and Education Officer who will provide one-to-one tailored support and guidance around areas such as:

  • CV Preparation
  • Career Guidance
  • Understanding your value as professional
  • Interview Coaching
  • Identifying skills and competencies
  • Applications for training/academic courses
  • Support in applying for financial assistance in education
  • Referrals to additional support services

If you are interested in arranging a one-to-one Zoom appointment  with our Employment and Education Officer, please contact laura@linc.ie. Initial appointments will be both an introduction to the new service and a brief assessment to best understand how we can support you going forward in your journey.

Appointments will take no longer than 30-40 minutes and we always aim to be as flexible as possible with times to facilitate those who need it.

From there, we will work with each person on a plan based on their individual needs, at a pace that works for them.
