Hello friends,

We miss you!

While we see many of you on zoom, we miss not being able to meet you in person in LINC. What we thought was a quick sprint when we closed our physical doors on the 12th March has since turned into a marathon.

We did not expect a marathon!

In the past six months we adapted and learned to deliver our service in a totally new way and we hope you found something in our range of programmes that kept you connected to LINC.

For some of you that will be a new connection and we cannot wait to actually meet you and welcome you into the community centre on White Street.

We have shared and will re-share a video with you to get an overview of all that went on, you can watch it on YouTube here:

There is nothing we would love more than to be able to open our doors and have one of our big end of summer BBQ’s but alas it is not going to happen this year.

On Tuesday 15th of September, the government introduced their Resilience and Recovery 2020-2021: Plan for Living with COVID-19, thankfully the country is at level two at the moment. We have decided it is a good time for us to take stock and also look at how we can best serve you our community over the next 6 -9 months.

To give us time to do that we will be introducing a reduced service from Monday 21st September – 19th October but not to worry we are not going to just disappear. We will continue to have our zoom coffee mornings and Drop Ins but just twice a week rather than four (please check out newsletter and social media for more details). We are also here if you ever need a private chat, please do not ever feel that you’re on your own.As always we ask you to look out for each other and follow government and HSE guidelines. Staff will be working remotely and can be contacted during our usual hours of work: Mon– Fri  10 – 5pm
