A number of people have expressed an interest in supporting L.inC financially on a regular basis and feel that they are in a position to do this. They would like to contribute to L.inC to help meet the costs of running L.inC and also contribute to the cost of running various programmes/workshops etc.. We have arranged for people to be able to do this by designing a standing order form which will enable them to contribute regularly at a freqeuncy that suits them e.g. they can contribute weekly, fortnightly, monthly, annually etc..There is no minimum or maximum amount and people are also free to make a once off donation to L.inC. Additionally donations can be made anonymously to L.inC. We must also stress that we are not asking you to do this nor are we putting pressure on anybody to contribute - we are merely facilitating those who have expressed a wish to donate to L.inC. There are no special priviledges granted or expected by these people and their names will never be published or made public. If you wish to donate to L.inC please contact us and we will arrange to have a standing order mandate emailed to you to complete and to send to your bank.

We would also ask that women participating in a group in L.inC contribute 2.00 euro on the night. The donation box is in the hallway by the office door.

Civil Partnership

The proposed civil partnership scheme creates a separate and unequal institution.

L.inC believes that providing equal access to a civil partnership that has the same rights as marriage for lesbian and gay couples is the only option for achieving equality for lesbians and gay men in Ireland. The proposed  civil partnership  undermines same-sex relationships and completely disregards LGB headed families.

L.inC is appalled by the fact that the Heads of Bill in their complete omission of  children  and  family  serves to discriminate against children of same sex couples for their parents  sexuality. Furthermore, this lack of recognition extends to all members of the child s family -grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and so forth. We demand equality for ourselves, our friends, partners, parents, siblings grandparents and extended family!
