L.inC Survey 2010

Thank you to everyone who completed the L.inC community survey. There were 250 responses!! If you would like to view the results, please click on the below link!!

L.inC 2010 Community Meeting
Come along to the new style Community Meeting on September 9th from 8pm to 9.30pm at L.inC.
We are not going to bore you with speeches but excite you with displays, slideshows, survey results and a new vision for L.inC.We are now working hard on analysing the results of the survey to draft the L.inC Autumn programme of support and activities. In the new programme, there will be many different opportunities for getting involved with L.inC and with the wider L&B community. Please do come along and see what’s on offer.
The survey has generated a lot of interest in the meeting and if everyone comes who said that they will or that they might, there could be 149 women there! This would be fantastic. We need to get an idea of numbers attending so that we can book a suitable venue, so please would you sign up to the event on Facebook, or email or phone the office to let us know?
Closer to the time, there will be more info available as to the content of the meeting, but afterwards we will definitely be heading to Loafers!
It’s an opportunity to be part of L.inC moving forward.

L.inC logo competition

Lesbians in Cork (L.inC) is rebranding! Our current logo has represented us since we were established in 1999 and we now feel that it’s time for a change.

We need a new logo that brings us into the 21st Century; and we are looking for your help. There is a prize of €200 for the winning entry! The deadline for entries is Monday 13th September at 5pm. Entries to be submitted electronically to info@linc.ie

Guidelines:
The logo will be used for our website, advertising, brochures, promotional items, leaflets, signs and banners.
Designs must be submitted in jpeg format, rastered images at 300dpi, or Illustrator eps.
The logo must include the words: connecting lesbian and bisexual women in Ireland.
The logo must incorporate the acronym LINC; this may be all uppercase or all lower case, but will no longer have the mid-word full stop.
No previously copyrighted text or images may be used.
All entries become the property of L.inC and will not be returned.
The decision on the winning logo will be taken by the L.inC steering group.

Lesbian Resource Directory

We are currently drafting a lesbian resource directory. It will include everything we will need to know about our local community and will provide links to national resources. We are looking for recommendations of everything from hotels to plumbers!
So If you have any contacts/info/recommendations to be added to it please contact Karla in the office at info@linc.ie

The Cork Gay Project provides a range of services to gay and bisexual men and their families in the Cork and Kerry region.

To further develop these services we require.

1. Community centre worker (part time)
applicants must qualify for C.S.P. scheme (see POBAL.ie)
